Tomatoes and cucumbers

Hi Richard, we are keen vegetable gardeners and enjoyed watching your programme on Gardeners World. We made notes of the varieties of tomatoes and cucumbers you grow but unfortunately these have been lost. We would be grateful if you could let us know what they were as they are not mentioned on the BBC web site. regards

John,

Thank you for your mail and I hope I can be of help. Not all the tomatoes I grew last year were mentioned on GW so I will list them all with an * by those I think were mentioned.

  • Black Russian*
  • Purple Russian
  • Trucker Favorite
  • Brandywine Red

Tiny

  • Sweet Pea Current (red)

Chilies
